Heidi Turner is a linocut artist and printer as well as the owner of Holdfast Ink. She came from away and fell in love with the ocean, choosing to settle in New Brunswick. Starting with a simple sketch, Heidi captures the very best of what the Maritimes and Canada have to offer.

When Heidi first bought a set of chisels, she knew she had found her medium. She transforms her sketches into intricate carvings, capturing her newfound home from a unique point of view. The sea and shore inspire her and heal her Midwestern soul.
